Step By Step Infant Developmental Center was established in 1984 with a mission to ensure that families who have infants and toddlers, birth to three, with diagnosed disabilities or developmental delays receive therapies, resources, and supports that assist them in maximizing their child’s development.

Step By Step is a comprehensive multi-program agency experienced in evaluating and treating a broad range of disabilities and delays through therapeutic intervention in a range of home, community, school, and child care settings. Step By Step is approved by the New York CityEarlyIntervention Program to provide eligible children with Early Intervention services at no out-of-pocket costs to parents. Step By Step is funded and regulated by the New York State Department of Health and in New York City by the New York City Department of Mental Health and Mental Hygiene.
